Norway: Transportøkonomisk Institut to install LicenseWatch
Transportøkonomisk institutt is a national institution for transport research and development. The Institute was set up in 1958, firstly as a Government secretariat and later (from 1964) as a separate research institution under the auspices of the Royal Norwegian Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (NTNF, now merged into the Research Council of Norway). In 1986 the Institute became a private, independent research foundation. The Institute receives its annual base funding from the Research Council of Norway, Division of Culture and Society.
