LicenseWatch 4.5 is released

LicenseWatch is proud to release a new and even stronger version of our Software Asset Management solution. Version 4.5 comes with a new Contract Management module that optimises the benefits of company contracts. Reporting with LicenseWatch has been greatly improved through Microsoft Reporting Services. LicenseWatch version 4.5 is our most comprehensive update so far and provides companies with an automatic overview and the opportunity to identify all possible savings.

Contract Management with LicenseWatch
LicenseWatch has developed a new Contract Management module as an integral element of LicenseWatch version 4.5. The new Contract Management module optimises your company’s overview of the contracts that have been entered. The new Contract Management module can manage all types of contracts and trace “many to many” links between your company’s various contracts.

Often, the content of one contract impacts other contracts, and revealing these links can be a quick, easy and smart way of facilitating administration and revealing savings. By dumping data from ERP systems and importing it into LicenseWatch, transactions can be traced to the individual contracts. This reveals how various contracts should be adjusted and optimised.

We have developed Contract Management in cooperation with our highly-skilled business partners and thanks to productive dialogue with our customers. We will remain in the development and dialogue phase until releasing version 5.0, for which we are developing a feature that can visualise the links between contracts, regardless of number and complexity.

Microsoft Reporting Services embedded in LicenseWatch
In the future, all LicenseWatch users will be able to execute user-defined reports via the embedded Microsoft Reporting Services. The reporting solution is fully embedded in LicenseWatch version 4.5, and provides companies with supreme freedom to report in exactly the format they need at no extra cost and with minimum time consumption.

To facilitate reporting, we have compiled 30 predifined reports that are available in LicenseWatch version 4.5 to help your company easily execute its most common tasks. In the next version, we plan to expand the number of predefined reports to 200.

The close links between LicenseWatch report solutions and MS Excel enable you to easily transfer data to Excel using a simple function and continue working with the numbers. You can save the reports directly to PDF, which makes distributing them to the relevant colleagues and managers easier.
