MULTIDATA and Troels Huus, Head of IT, have selected LicenseWatch. Multidata is the company behind Danish solutions such as DataLøn, MultiLøn and PersonaleGuide. Around 90,000 commercial enterprises use Multidata’s payroll and personnel solutions, and approximately 1.3 million Danes have their salary paid via Multidata. Situation

We were on track to implement a brand new IT platform company-wide, to cater for 350 clients. Our control over our inventory of software licenses was right up to date. We wanted to future-proof this favourable situation with structured management of our software licenses, the aim being to abide by our IT governance policy and promote efficient and value-adding IT usage.

Solution

In conjunction with a software advisor from one of our suppliers, the choice fell on LicenseWatch. This user-friendly software had proven capability for implementation on our Microsoft platform, and LicenseWatch has the license management tools we needed. But we were looking for more than just administration of our inventory of licenses. We wanted full control over optional and mandatory installation options over and above the standard packages. And naturally we wanted to be able to measure utilisation of the software.
